Hyesun Sun Lee is a South Korean composer currently based in New York City. With a profound interest in interdisciplinary art, in recent years she has been experimenting with the relationship between sound and space, which offers new dimensions to her sonic palette. She infuses the spatial aspect as another parameter in her music, achieved through the performer’s movements, electronics, metaphoric musical devices, and more. Lee received her Master of Music degree in composition from Manhattan School of Music after earning Bachelor of Music degree at Ehwa Womans University.
